The Division of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology provides histopathological and ancillary testing of bone and soft tissue neoplasms procured by the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Neurosurgery as well as intradepartmental and external consultative services. The division consists of Drs. O. Hans Iwenofu and Paul E. Wakely, Jr. (director). They will continue to develop a frozen tumor bank of bone and soft tissue tumors that will serve as a basis of future biomarker discovery and validation.
