About Us:
The Human Tissue Resource Network (HTRN) is funded through
federal and corporate research programs for the collection,
banking, and distribution of human tissue and fluid
specimens. The HTRN is comprised of the Pathology
Core Facility (PCF), Tissue Archive Service (TAS), Tissue
Procurement Service (TPS), AIDS and Cancer Specimen Resource
(ACSR), the Cancer and Leukemia Group B Pathology Coordinating
Office (CALGB - PCO), and an Adenoma Polyp Tissue Bank (APTB).
The HTRN unites tissue-based research resources within the OSU Department
of Pathology and promotes collaborative research within the
OSU Medical Center and related national human research projects.
